Investor Program

If you are an investor and would like to immigrate to Quebec, this program may be right for you. You will need to make a guaranteed investment of CDN$1,200,000 for five years in Quebec. After five years, your investment will be reimbursed without interest. You must also meet the following requirements:

• Have net assets of at least CDN$2,000,000
• Have at least two years of experience in managing a commercial or industrial business
• Demonstrate intermediate French proficiency (B2 level or equivalent) — this is now mandatory
• Age and training received

Business/Entrepreneur Program

If you or your spouse are business people and would like to immigrate to Quebec, Canada, as a family, this program may be right for you. To be eligible, you will need to acquire at least 25% of equity, valued at least CDN$100,000, in a commercial, industrial or agricultural business in Quebec. Another option is to submit a project proposal with a goal of acquiring such a business under the same conditions. You also have to either manage the business or become a management partner on a daily basis, and must do so for at least one year after receiving permanent residence. Additional requirements include:

• Have net assets of at least CDN$300,000
• Have at least two years of experience in managing a profitable commercial, industrial or agricultural business
• Employ at least one Quebec resident
• Proficiency of language
• Age, training received
• Character and knowledge of Quebec
