Justin Trudeau and Enrique Pena Nieto Meeting on Canada and Mexico Collaboration

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met with President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto today to talk about enhancing the partnership between Canada and Mexico.

During the meeting they discussed the importance of strengthening the collaboration between Canada and Mexico by encouraging the increase in travel, business, and flow of new ideas.

Justin Trudeau also announced the removal of visa requirements for Mexican visitors. This gesture is intended to reinforce the ties between the two countries.

Canada and Mexico understand the value of close cooperation and are moving close together to expand economically, grow more investment relationships, produce an increase in trade, and create more jobs in both countries.
